Dharohar, a NGO by Ms Nandita Singhal, organizes an exhibition – LADKI KI KATHI - highlighting a dying craft and preserving memories of childhood at The Manek Chowk, from 06 - 07 November 2012, 10 am to 4 pm
A display of 500 horses manufactured by the artisans in Udaipur & painted by school children will be created.
Horses will be prepared & a base layer of paint will be added by some volunteers from the artist community & the Dharohar team. Once ready, the Dharohar team will take these horses to schools & give a chance to children also to paint them.
*People visiting the Manek Chowk, Please make a note of the following:
-Due to security reasons do not bring handbags, briefcases etc.
-A valid ID such as passport, driving licence, PAN card, voters I-card, government I-card is required for entry. Ration card will not be accepted as ID.
Professional security arrangements have been organized at The Manek Chowk, The City Palace Complex, Udaipur. You are requested to cooperate with the security procedures as this is in everyone’s interest.
