Orchestrated by Princess Catherine Colonna de Stigliano and Ranjit Kumar Mahanty with the backing of a sterling International Committee, the "Bal de l'Eté" drew more than 640 carefully selected guests on invitation from India and every corner of the Globe. The "Bal de l'Eté" under the High Patronage of SAS Prince Albert II in aid of the Sovereign Order of Malta, traditionally raises the curtain on the summer season in the Principality
with flourish.
India and more specifically "Princes of Rajasthan", was the dream theme of this year's blockbuster edition. Under the auspices of HRH MAHARANA SHRIJI ARVIND SINGH MEWAR OF UDAIPUR, a bevy of members from the Indian and International elite were present at the magnum XVIIth turn of the "Bal de l'Eté". MAHARAJ RAGHAVENDRA RATHORE OF JODHPUR, among India's rare renowned designers, was the creative force behind the ball's ornate Saris and elegant Nehru Jackets, Princess Kavita Rathore, Princess Padmaja Mewar, one of World's foremost businessmen Mr. Ravikant and wife Mrs. Madhu Ruia, heir to the Bisleri empire Jayanti Chauhan, Sama Ali daughter of designer Nawab Muzzafar Ali, Insha Shareef, Kirat Khangura, Insha Shareef, Mathieu and Maxime Delaporte, Ali Roper, Prince Jorge Romanoff, Count Adriaen Kamenicky, Mathieu de Senger, Catherine de Marignac, Viviane Edde, Peter Deeb, Prince Rudolf Kniase Melikoff, Leyla Feedah Fawzi Ibrahim, Guillermo Rozenblum, Johann-Christian Schiessl, Rolland Berda, Mitra Moghadam as well as Columba Bush wife of Jeb Bush

Monaco is all set to celebrate the 17th edition of Bal de l'Ete in the Principality of Monaco from 22nd-24th June 2012. Bal de l'Ete is known throughout the world, as it signifies the beginning of the summer social season and this year the event traditionally launches the summer season of the principality in Indian style as the theme of this edition is 'Princess of Rajasthan'.
H.R.H. The Maharana Shriji Arvind Singh Mewar of Udaipur will be present at the up-coming XVIIth Magnum edition of the “Bal de l’Eté” along with legendary star of Indian movies Amitabh Bachchan accompanied by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan as well as numerous guests from the international and Indian elite in their trail.
